I am an experienced and successful mediator, accredited in Civil & Commercial (ADRg), Workplace and Community Mediation. I have been lead or sole mediator in a large number of mediations, drawing high levels of satisfaction from parties and their representatives. I have mediated in FTSE 100 businesses, startups, universities, trade unions, schools, councils, and charities. I consider myself foremost a specialist in mediation, rather than a specialist in a particular area, capable of operating effectively in pretty much any environment.
I qualified as a solicitor in 1988, gained my first experience in general private practice, before becoming an in-house solicitor for a trade union, and after that working as a lawyer to an employers’ association. I have project managed and trained on primary and secondary schools’ Peer Mediation Schemes and have developed and delivered mediation training to organisations including FSTE 100 businesses and universities. I was on ADR Group’s University Education Faculty, delivering mediation training for law graduate students.
